Definitions: remember that some of these issues may not neatly fall into a single category--that is okay
Constitutional Issue: of or about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, any of the amendments, Supreme Court issues/cases, federalism
Examples: presidential powers, war powers, privacy, surveillance, marriage equality, state vs. federal government (separation of powers)
Civic Responsibility: of or about a citizen's duty
Examples: voting, jury duty, taxes, the draft or other military issues, good samaritan laws, obeying laws, civil disobedience
Political Process: of or about local, state, and federal issues
Examples: gerrymandering, electoral college, political parties, primaries, PACS (political action committees), donations and limits
